Mining is expected to start next year at the Cononish gold and silver mine near Tyndrum.

Scotrail's poor service

I find the situation for commuters between stations in my constituency (Dunblane, Bridge of Allan and Stirling) and Glasgow and Edinburgh to be unacceptable and I would expect that improvements would be forthcoming as a matter of extreme urgency.

Thistles Centre lifts ban on Nativity scenes!

I have just heard that the Thistles Centre has overturned their policy that prevented them allowing nativity scenes. From Sunday onwards, a nativity will be able to be created for the benefit of all passing shoppers.

Stirling’s MP has welcomed the support from the Committee for changes to be made to ensure our small businesses get their payments promptly.

 

Last week the Committee published its report into small businesses and productivity.

 LNER will be reinstating its direct Stirling to London service from 9th December, following a temporary suspension of the service in the summer.
