Rebuttal to the idea of a "Scottish backstop"

Firstly at the SNP Party Conference, then today in London, Nicola Sturgeon has called for Scotland to be a part of the Northern Ireland "Backstop", meaning Scotland remains in the customs union while the rest of the UK does not.

Agriculture Bill

The Agriculture Bill has now passed through its second reading, and I managed to raise a couple of issues that pertain to Scottish farmers. Firstly, I mentioned the Red Meat levy, which sees Scottish animals slaughtered in England and the levy kept with the English slaughterhouse.

Cultenhove Street Surgery

A bumper street surgery in the Cultenhove area of St Ninians this week! Details on the roads and anti-social behaviour were picked up.
