Stephen Kerr: August 2017

Here are some of the things i’ve been up to in August, all across the Stirling constituency! Be sure to sign up for future releases – we promise not to spam your inbox!

My statement on the Park of Keir decision

I was very disappointed to read yesterday that the SNP Government have approved the Park of Keir development, located between the Bridge of Allan and Dunblane. There has been widespread opposition to the project, which has been ignored.

Visit to Blair Drummond Safari Park

Today, I had the honour of visiting the excellent Blair Drummond Safari Park. As the City Region Deal progresses, Stirling will attract more and more tourists- because of excellent attractions such as Blair Drummond SP.

Getting Connected- Broadband in Scotland

One of the most important problems we face and a priority for me is the ongoing difficulties many of our communities face as a result of an inadequate Broadband connection.

Back to work!

Today, I was back in the office at the Palace of Westminster. It’s an incredible privilege to be able to go to work in the ‘Mother of Parliaments’ for the people of Stirling constituency.

First Sec. of State Damian Green MP visits

On Friday the 11th of August, I hosted First Secretary of State Damian Green MP on a visit to Stirling, after he accepted my invitation to come and see the progress Stirling is making on the City Region Deal.

Visiting Parliament

If you live in Stirling constituency and have ever wanted to see the Westminster Parliament in session and you are planning to visit London, why not get in touch with me to arrange a visit to Parliament?
