PMQs: Save our High Street

The Stirling Observer reported last week the Wilkies department store on King Street was shutting down. This follows announcements from other stores such as Homebase, The Boozy Cow, and Mr Simms Sweet Shop they would be closing their doors.

Revitalising our dying City Centre: Speech

In a Commons debate I spoke on the state of our High streets, making particular reference to King Street in Stirling City Centre. This is the main throughfare to the Castle, yet appears barren to tourists. 

The importance of local Museums

I called a debate in Westminster Hall to express my support for local museums across the country, especially those in Stirling.

Tariff Cap Bill

Yesterday, I spoke on the Domestic Gas and Electricity (Tariff Cap) Bill, to outline my views on the energy market, and support the bill as it passes through the Commons.
