Trunk the A811!

The A811 links Stirling with towns in Stirlingshire such as Gargunnock, Balfron, Kippen, Buchlyvie, and many more. It's also a vital artery for Scottish tourism, with the West Highland Way and the Finnich Glen two significant locations just off it.

CityFibre is currently rolling out superfast Fibre-to-Premises broadband across Stirling. However, under current plans the Eastern Villages of Fallin, Cowie, Plean, and Throsk will not be getting the faster broadband.

Policy positions

Read my policy positions on the most important aspects of the day. Regularly updated.

4. Make Stirling a Connected Constituency

Many people in rural Stirling have trouble with slow, ineffective broadband. This makes it difficult to work and live in rural areas, which in turn puts a stopper on growth in these areas.

5. Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

Crime is a problem across Stirling, from dog fouling to drug abuse. I will engage with Police Scotland as I have in the past to link victims to the authorities and stand up for law abiding communities.
